A final four-stanza Dada Beat coda to the Buzz Drainpipe triptych
I. Cassette as Curse / The Offering
Buzz grips the tape like a detonator of memory—
labels worn, corners chewed by thought rats.
He doesn’t press play. He declares war.
“GNARL,” he mutters. The city flinches.
This ain’t music. This is the howl before the music.
This is Side Z.
II. Doorway to the Broadcast Beyond
Open sign flickers like a dying eyelid.
Buzz walks into light shaped like silence.
No god inside, just fluorescent purgatory and a linoleum welcome mat.
Somewhere, a bell rings—but no one enters.
Not a store. A threshold.
III. Knife Communion / Bone-Lord's Proposal
The Skeleton Saint offers him a blade,
its hilt whittled from forgotten solos.
The rain chants in Morse: “Do it.”
Buzz doesn’t bow. Buzz listens.
The blade vibrates with AM static.
Even ghosts need a weapon sometimes.
IV. Standstill in the Storm / Buzz Refuses Oblivion
No fight. Not yet.
Buzz raises a fist full of feedback and cigarette ash.
The skeleton pauses.
They stare—two relics, two ruins.
No victor. Just voltage.
And the beat, still gnawing, never dies.
