Tune In Tuesday: Rock and Rule (1983)

In this acclaimed, animated rock and roll feature, Angel, a member of a punk rock band in the apocalyptic future, is kidnapped by Mok, a legendary super rocker. Obsessed with an evil experiment, Mok plans to use Angel s voice to summon a demon from another dimension. The rest of the bands follows Mok to Nuke York in an attempt to rescue her and then the ultimate battle of good vs. evil begins.

I had this DVD when it came out way back in 2005 and watched it constantly.  Anthropomorphic Animals playing 80s rock, animated, bad guy voiced by Lou Reed. Debbie Harry voices one of the main Characters. Bizarrely, the plot is not dissimilar to The Apple. The DVD just got a re release after being OOP for years. Worth it for the great soundtrack and South of Disney animation.
