Down The Tubis: Director William Webb Spotlight #3 "The Hit List (1993"

A professional hit man's boss refers him to a client, a dangerous woman who mixes business with pleasure, drawing him into a deadly double-cross.

James Coburn lends an Air of sophistication to this pot boiler.Compared to Other William Webb joints, this one is much more serious. Finely acted and directed, still very much a straight to video 90s thriller, better made than his earlier films but by that same sword also less memorable. Worthwhile if you appreciate this specific kind of mystery thriller, or have a hard on for the 1990s. Jeff Fahey (lawnmower man)as our lead does his best Humphrey Bogart without irony and I can't tell if it works or not.
