A couple (Burt Reynolds, Angie Dickinson), made crazy by the loss of a son and his family, abduct a woman (Mia Sara) and daughter who look familiar.
The back cover tried to play this as a "psychological thriller" because in the pre- scream 1990s, horror was a bad word. But make no mistake, this is 100% a horror flick. Cheap too, Went straight to video. But this has a right-before-his -career-resurgence- with-boogie nights Burt Reynolds, Angie Dickinson, Mia Sara, and a effectively creepy plot and execution. Worth a watch for the novelty of seeing Burt Reynolds in a villian horror role.
